In the 1970s, Grandt’s distinctive style caught the attention of collectors Coop and Patti Cooprider at the Naffouj Gallery in Landstuhl, Germany. They acquired several of his pieces, including “Cathedral Arch” (1973), “Kapelle im Schnee” (1973), and “Burg Stockem” (1971).
